Director and producer Fang Li, science and engineering guy, geophysicist, stumbled into the film industry, had invested in several good films. This was just a period of history that he accidentally discovered, but did not hesitate to make it into a documentary. A man with affection, righteousness, and pursuit. This documentary excavates history in many ways, does not sensationalize, does not bring in personal tendencies and emotions, shows various historical materials and the impact on future generations, and leaves it to the audicence to judge for themselves. Even so, you can still feel the greatness of humanity and affection, the meanness and cruelty of war from the dusty facts of history, and from the memory and rememberance of the ancestors by the descendants. It may touch a soft spot in your heart and make you weep.<\/p>\n
I was most impressed by a few scenes: Firstly, Fangli chose to do a full-page advertisement on the back of the Sunday Times in the UK, and found a lot of valuable associates and information. Later, after the BBC was informed of this, he was invited to conduct a global live TV interview. The other chose detective services in Japan to find the descentants of Captain Shigeru Suta of the Lisbon Maru. It really seems to be true what they say: anything that money can solve is not a problem. There is also William Benningfield, a survivor of the Lisbon Pill, who lives in Canada. Truly recommend this documentary, and hope that it gets a fair review and sells a relatively possible box office, as well as possible for what Fang Li has done. If I had to say what the beauty of this documentary is, it's that the 3D virtual animation content is slightly crude to save on investment. To conclude with a quote from Fang Li: I think the film's significance is more important than its rating.
